Philip Leete is an educator, builder, and systems-level thinker working at the intersection of robotics, AI, and real-world learning. He is the founder of Quarkmine, a technology education company helping schools and communities move beyond surface-level STEM and into hands-on design, manufacturing, and applied intelligence. His work focuses on preparing students not just to use technology, but to shape it.
Through SRL (Student Robotics League) and Duckbowl competitions, Philip has helped scale authentic robotics experiences to hundreds of teams statewide—emphasizing design thinking, identity, collaboration, and control-based engineering over spectacle alone. These programs reward creativity, problem-solving, and team culture as much as technical performance.
Philip is currently expanding Quarkmine into its next phase with Quarkmine:VIBE—a forward-looking initiative centered on context engineering, AI-assisted creativity, and human-AI collaboration. His work increasingly explores how local AI systems, robotics, and energy breakthroughs will reshape education, workforce development, and cost of living—especially in K-12 and community-scale settings.
Philip’s Corner is his public thinking space: a place to explore ideas, prototypes, partnerships, and conversations around where education, AI, and physical systems are heading next. He actively collaborates with educators, technologists, investors, and organizations looking to pilot new models, enter new markets, or rethink how learning actually works.
If you’re building something that lives between education, AI, robotics, and the real world—or you want to—Philip is open to conversations that lead somewhere.
